Paisley is a pattern tracing its origins back to the Persian Empire and is a traditional motif on Kashmiri shawls.

- Eri silk is a natural, ethical and sustainable fabric. It crushes easily and beautifully (we just love this quality for a pocket square) and although its texture is matte, it has an intrinsic glow and luster that is unmistakably silk. It is made on a very small scale as a cottage industry in India, and its production supports a wide community of (mostly women) rural silk farmers, spinners and weavers. It is produced without harming or killing the silk worms.
